Strike Miami kicked off the official opening of its new nightlife spot, Pulse Lounge www.pulseloungemiami.com, last week. On hand to host the opening bash was pop star Kat DeLuna, who treated guests to a performance of her new hit “Drop It Low” and a few other fan favorites including “Whine Up” and “Run This Show.” DeLuna pumped up the crowed by inviting a few of the club’s guests to dance with her on stage. When Gaga come to Bowlmor in Times Square a few months ago it was truly a Monster Ball! This week, US Weekly revealed their special Gaga tribute issue. A feature in the mag (photo above) is Gaga’s New York- and of course Bowlmor Lanes was mentioned. Gaga loves to bowl and WE are her home for bowling in New York City. The love affair between Bowlmor and Gags is def not a Bad Romance! Love you Gaga!

Amidst all the Mets’ drama with the Wilpons, we are happy to say that we had a GREAT event with none other than the legendary Doc Gooden himself! This past Friday, Doc mixed and mingled with fans at the Stadium Grill at Bowlmor Lanes in Midtown. While eating wings and signing autographs, Doc also got to watch 2 of his famous teams compete in Friday’s installment of the Subway Series (Yankees vs. Mets) game. Doc was a real class act and took time to meet each and everyone of his fans who came out. With our partners at SNY TV we were able to give away Mets tickets, gift bags, and Coronas. A great time was had by all and we thank Doc for stopping by!

Amidst all her personal drama it was so nice to see her enjoying some quality family time on our lanes. Lindsay and crew had a great time bowling in the private Chinatown Lounge and snacking on David Burke sliders and calamari. No one bowled a turkey, but when Lindsay’s brother Michael scored 2 strikes in a row, sister Ali celebrated by hitting our giant gong!

Stephanie Pratt stopped by Bowlmor Lanes Times Square after a busy New York Fashion Week. She bowled in our Times Square themed lanes with a group of friends. At one point they attempted a very impressive stunt- one of her cute guy friends laid down on the lanes and she bowled right over him! Not too shabby!

This past Sunday we partnered with the Broadway League to celebrate Kids Night On Broadway. With their tickets to participating Broadway shows, kids were able to bowl for free and take part in a morning of fun Broadway inspired activities. Tons of kids turned out for the great event, as well as child stars from the shows. We are thrilled to be a part of the Broadway community and look forward to doing more great events. Fans of Carnival NYC can no breathe a sigh of relief! When SNOWpocalypse 2010 brought immense amounts of snow down on the pressurized dome of Carnival in Union Square, the venue suffered severe damages and we were forced to shut our doors. Fortunately, our massive 90,000 sq ft Time Square venue had plenty of extra space and we were able to bring the Carnival to Times Square!

We’ve converted our former Subway Lanes into The Coney Island room. Here you’ll find our classic boardwalk games including Skee Ball, Milk Money, Krazy Kats and the world famous Fish Pong! An adjacent lounge area, Luna Park, features the Basket Case, Put a Ring on It, and Who Darted games. So Carnival is now better than ever!

Watch the New York Knicks take on the Miami Heat tonight at The Stadium Grill at Bowlmor Lanes Times Square. In their first match up of the season, let’s see if the Knicks can teach the Heat not to mess with New York. This figures to be a game with multiple story lines, not only a matchup of two of the better teams in the East, but a grudge match for Knicks fans who were spurned by LeBron James in free agency last summer.

“We definitely earned our respect,” Stoudemire told reporters after the Celtics game. “ We’re no slouch. We’re ready to play every night.”

Catch all the action, chow down on delicious grub by David Burke, and have a beer or two tonight at The Stadium Grill. Game starts at 7pm.
